Just Appraised rebrands as Alltus to reflect its growth across local government

October 20, 2026 — Just Appraised, the AI software company serving local governments, today announced that it is changing its name to Alltus. The company, its team, its ownership and its products are unchanged. The new name reflects how far the company’s work now reaches across local government, from assessors and appraisers to clerks and recorders, tax collectors, and city departments.

Founded out of Stanford Business School in 2017, the company began by helping assessors modernize the property tax process. As offices adopted its tools, the work spread to the departments around them. Front Desk, built to help assessor’s offices answer taxpayer questions, was requested by tax collectors, county clerks and city leadership. Auto-Indexing brought the same AI to county clerks, so better records flow downstream to the assessor.

“Just Appraised described where we started, but it has never quite fit everything we’ve become,” said Imran Khoja, CEO of Alltus. “Alltus is a name for the whole picture. The team you know, the people who own and run this company, and the work we do with you are exactly the same as they’ve always been.”

Today, 1 in 5 people in the United States live in communities powered by Alltus, which serves more than 300 governments in over 30 states. Its products include Deeds Automation, Auto-Indexing, Forms, Exemption Audit, Appeals, Front Desk and 311.

What changes for customers

Very little. Customers will see the Alltus name over the coming months, alongside the familiar Just Appraised branding. Contracts, teams and support stay the same, and the company’s website is moving to alltus.com, with every existing link continuing to work.
