SMS communications
Alltus may send you a text message on behalf of a government agency or other Alltus customer when you ask for information to be sent to you by text.
These messages carry information you specifically requested during your interaction with that agency or with Alltus. They are not marketing or promotional messages.
Message frequency
Unless we tell you otherwise at the time you give consent, each request results in one SMS message containing the information you asked for.
Consenting to one requested message does not enrol you in recurring SMS communications. You will not receive recurring or marketing texts as part of this service.
How you opt in
You may opt in verbally during a telephone conversation with a government agency or an Alltus representative. Before the message is sent, the representative will:
- confirm that you are requesting information by text at the mobile number you are calling from, or another number you provide
- identify the agency or organisation on whose behalf the message is being sent
- explain that the message will be sent by Alltus on behalf of that organisation
- describe the type of information the message will contain
- disclose the expected number of messages
- tell you that message and data rates may apply
- tell you that these SMS Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy are available on the Alltus website
- ask you to confirm expressly that you consent to receive the message
A text message is sent only after you affirmatively consent — for example, by answering “yes” to the representative’s request for permission.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. Alltus does not charge a separate fee for these informational messages.
Opting out
You may revoke your consent at any time. Reply STOP to a message from Alltus, or otherwise tell us you do not wish to receive further messages.
Because this service generally consists of a single message you asked for, opting out mainly prevents additional messages being sent unless you give consent again.

Privacy
Alltus takes your privacy seriously. Information collected or processed in connection with SMS communications is handled in line with the Alltus Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates are posted on the Alltus website and take effect when posted, or as otherwise stated in the updated terms.
